God fact of the day! Technically all the gods are genderless, they just choose to look like their favorite mortal gender because it's fun. Yuu figured "both are good!" so he designed himself to be male and female (and designed his mortal people the same way.) He responds to "he" or "she", he doesn't mind Nia calling him aunt or uncle depending on her mood.

Also his element is air, but he decided cooking was better than flying. So he cooks. A lot.

@Quadrant: They can switch their genders and how they look whenever they want, and they can reproduce with or without sex (though sex is their main choice because, well, obvious reasons) and they do it verrryy often. Mostly with mortals. Tanashi switches himself around all the time, Lajos hasn't attempted to be female/another appearance in a long, loooong time.

Nothing too interesting behind their choices. They just go with what they think looks prettiest. They're all very vain.

To be fair, I do think her dad should give her a choice. Forcing someone to a lifelong career in something that will permanently effect them is pretty childish~ o-o Then again I've seen the gods don't always act like adults XD

Finally understanding the expectations of society... People all wanting you to be this and that yet not what you want to be.

To be fair to her, her dad should have given her the choice of it but being part god and all that, what other options were there?

Don't take it out on the pastries though. Pastries are better eaten.

I actually thought she was being rude to him then by just calling him 'You!' Then I actually read it properly and saw 'Yuu' is his actually name. He looks fabulous with his wings. His talons could be a bit awkward in the bedroom.

Curious though. I know Gods are Gods and pretty much immortal. Since they are genderless, is that just at birth where they assign themselves a sex they like or can they switch at will and do they reproduce (us conceiving also a choice four them) or is sex just something for pleasure when they're bored?

Only that I can't see reasons why they would actually need offspring... Unless of course they do age and die and just have very long lifespans.

Other than appearance is there actually anything behind their choice?

I find it rather odd that the God(dess) of healing is cleaning a fish later to be et. Doesn't mean I don't like the practical implications. "I'm hungry, give me your arm. Don't make that face I'll grow you another!"

Aaand I just gave myself the horrible horrible vision of somebody tending an arm farm, with arms of various shapes and sizes stick morbidly out of the ground as if they're grasping at sky, only to eventually be fried up and eaten.
