@ZOMG: Youuuuu saw nothing.

@Garbud and @api are correct. Miyuri tries to be a good person, but that's hard when you live in daily fear of your husband. She allowed people and her children to be hurt, yeah, and she feels nonstop regret over it. But that's the problem with abusive relationships. You're pretty powerless.

Hey, is it just me or did her eye colors switch places? Love the comics by the way.

I like that even though Mimi knows she isn't getting through she intends to beat Nia into submission before booting her out into the world.

Come Nia, let us teach you how to hate mortals.

I'm probably being too harsh, but Miyuri herself does not exactly seem like a good person. The relative peace of her family was more important than not only her family's suffering, but the lives and suffering of everyone else. She enabled him to do this to these children, not only by her not stopping him herself, but she prevented Horus from stopping him as well. She seems like either a pretty selfish or extremely weak-willed and callous person to me. Which makes me sad since I thought she was cool until the past few pages.

Evil is evil, but allowing and enabling evil is certainly not good either.

@Saria: Thing is she was in a situation of physiologic not being able to fight against her husband. This happens quite often in abusive relationships.

@Saria: not to mention psychological and emotional oppression/control, which can be way more powerful than the physical abuse itself. it makes otherwise autonomous people feel trapped, can lead to passivity or suicide, etc.
pretty much, let's be aware of complexity, and stop short of victim-blaming.
