Maybe Nia has more of Moira in her than she thought. Honestly, MOIRA WAS RIGHT. Her sons had been wronged and deserved a chance that Lajos wouldn't even give them.
@Lara: Honestly, this action should be really alarming for anyone watching. Anyone he thinks has the potential to be dangerous, even 'family', is suitable to just be buried. But Moira who was actively harmful is going to be rehabilitated. (And her craziness is an indirect result of Lajos as well!)
@Lara: Perhaps. We're seeing a small part of a big issue. This is somewhere between a father abusing children and a judge passing sentence, or maybe even both. Fire/Water/Death have places in the natural order, what these three are is unclear.
